I'm Sick and Tired of Ignorance *Rant-ish*

Journal Entry: Tue Jul 28, 2009, 11:45 AM

Seriously.
If there is one quality I hate most in a person, it is ignorance.
Albert Einstein once said:

Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the universe.

Human stupidity leads to discrimination. Admit it, you know I'm right. We fear the unknown, at least in general. Humans are stupid animals that can not live without hatred. We have to have something to hate, and it is always easier if someone tells us who to hate.
Name a religious group, and they have probably been persecute for their beliefs. Atheists and Agnostics get to join in on the fun too! What specifically sparked my little rant?
Homosexuality. Choice or not? Not. A straight person can't answer that question. Nor can a gay person that was forced straight via electroshock therapy or some other horrible treatment.
Would I like to be accepted by the majority? Yeah, sure. It'd be nice. At the cost of denying who am I?
Fuck no.
I am me. If I deny who am I, then who would I be? I'd be no one. Nothing.

I would rather stare adversity in the face, kick discrimination in the balls and step over the shuddering, crying body of ignorance, triumphant.

I suggest everyone else do the same.

To the ignorant bitches reading: wear a cup, I'll be steel-toe boots.
That means you too, Pope Palpetine, you ain't helping.

Unfortunately I haven't, I was on dA for a few minutes before I had to go to a doctors appointment. I did get a chance to briefly browse your webpage which I had opened before the screams of "Let's go" began to give me a headache, however.

I must admit, that TPB is mighty tempting.

You are who are. If someone refuses to accept that, sucks for them.
